2003 June Bugs

images/dede/dede x Justin pups!

We had seven (4 girls, 3 boys) wonderful and very healthy "June Bugs" and the household is a-buzz with the excitement!  It was an incredibly marvelous way to welcome the month of June and the summer season!

The "June Bugs" as they've grown...

4 Girls (3 Black Tri & 1 Blue Merle)

Dream

Dream....is in Michigan where she shares her life with with her adoring companions, Justin, Amy & Justina...her Aussie cousin, Chase, will be an ever-present playmate too.

Doris

Doris will stay in the greater KC area and share in family life with a darling family and Nolan, a fellow Aussie.

Katy

This spunky, sweet and energetic girl  will assume the role of Princess "Katy" in her new home....being spoiled rotten at every opportunity!

Bindy

What a lover!  This adorable girl "Bindy",  now resides in Rhode Island with her fabulous family of four!

3 Boys (2 Blue Merle, 1 Black Tri)

Blu

This handsome young
man, named Blu, has gone home with his fabulous family to the greater Kansas City area, where he immediately joined in with fun family activities with Kirby, his Lab companion.

Mr. Blu is reported to love the snow...and is now 6 months old.  He's tops in his intermediate obedience class and the youngest student...very athletic, energetic and loves hugs and cuddles.

Blu is on the left with his two fellow canine partners

Dusty

December 2008...Season's Greeting from the Dog Park.
Here's one of Dusty taken a few hours ago at one of his favorite destinations. He's had a lot of changes recently. His boys are off to college. 'Mom and Dad' backs are both acting up and don't walk him as much as they used to. But this boy's spirit is indestructible; he's been so upbeat....and wonderful to have around while we recover.
Next week his boys will be home for a month and he'll be so excited. He loves it when his entire pack is together. Don't we all...
It's funny, when everyone came home for Thanksgiving he couldn't decide where to sleep. He'd flit like a socialite from one room to the next, up and down all night. The next night we put his bed in the hallway where all our doors converge and left them open. He slept the night away, peacefully guarding his flock.
Thanks for the wonderful boy. I can't imagine not having him.
Good to hear that you and the gang are well. Have a wonderful holiday!

Dusty is in Northern California, and his new "Mom" had this to say...

Dusty and I have been meaning to write and, since it's his birthday, we'd take a little time to do just that. Four years and he's still a ebullient little guy with a lot of puppy left to burn. Life is good...from the time he runs down the stairs for breakfast till the time he runs up the stairs at bedtime...his life is happiness punctuated by naps. And meals!

I can't think of a single thing that makes him uneasy, except maybe the pit bull up the street. Thunderstorms, earthquakes, firecrackers? Piece of cake.

See Birthday pictures below, the lower with his birthday bone. Planning a BBQ on Sunday but it's a surprise. Shhhhhhhhhhh. :-)

Hope all is well with you and the clan...and thank you for the wonderful pup.

Love,
Adrienne and Dusty

Dusty (on his first birthday) in his very favorite spot on Earth.   He'll be celebrating tonight with a BBQ and ice cream!!  A sweetheart for sure, he's lived an entire year now and has yet to meet a person, or creature of any kind, he doesn't LOVE with all his little heart.

Here's a few of Dusty I took a few hours ago.  He's doing great, maturing into a very intelligent (manipulative!) and sweet boy - who absolutely loves his Frisbee!  Yesterday he saw me get out my keys and, knowing this meant car, calmly slipped himself under the coffee table.  Though he's a good sport about it, it doesn't particularly like transport. So I said, "Dusty, you can either get in the car with me or go to your crate."  And he walked over and got into his crate.   You could have knocked me over with a feather!   Smart boy, indeed.   He'll like the car more when he starts going to places more exciting than the kid's school parking lots. He'll get over his car disdain in a hurry.  :)

Murphy

Murphy will stay in the greater KC area, enjoying the good life with his new super family.

This litter promise to be very athletic, sweet and beautiful.....the best of all worlds!
