All of our puppies are the progeny of
genetically screened parents and are transferred to approved homes
with ASCA and AKC Registration Application, written contract,
pedigree, Health Certificate and personalized Puppy Training Tips.

Indeed...Thursday (12/30/04) was an 'afternoon delight'
as Miss DeDe presented us with her six sensational bundles of joy. She
didn't miss a beat nor change her sweet demeanor, as she welcomed each puppy
into this world...grinning from ear to ear.

"Shelby"

Shelby was a delightful birthday surprise for a darling 6
year old girl, planned by very sweet and caring parents. Home is in our
greater Kansas City area.
Her family had this to say about her..."We have received so
many compliments on Shelby, she is a looker but boy oh boy she is HEAD STRONG!
She is doing well and loves to play. She is such an Aussie! Lots of energy
and will do anything for a treat ;-) Kiely is now 11 yrs and in 2006 we added Kagan! He’s 4 yrs and full of more
energy than Shelby! Also, 2008 we added Ash (silver/grey) cat. So family of four
+ two animals! Always busy around here and never a dull moment. Shelby and Ash
are best buds and enjoy each other’s company. " |

Miss Shelby is shown at 12 weeks of age and
wonderfully settled in with her life long family. |

"Coogan"

Coogan & Packie - Christmas 2011
|
|
"Coogan" is enjoying his life of luxury with a marvelous
couple, here in the greater KC area, as well.
Update Christmas 2008 - "Coogan is approaching
his 4th birthday in just 10 days...can you believe it??!! Ahhh, they grow up so
fast. He remains our amazing pup and just as good as gold. There's not a day
that goes by that we don't count our blessings for this dear little man. Whether
it's waking us up on a Saturday morning (he knows it's Saturday by the way)
planting his big fuzzy paws on the edge of our bed, or burying his nose in our
favorite chair wanting some cuddle time, he brings us unending joy. Although the
temperatures have turned colder, we still enjoy the trolley trail walks to
Brookside and around Loose Park. He loves the cold weather as he's so well
insulated. With his ears back, and stride brisk, he's focused on course the
entire time. He's way past being distracted by people and other dogs passing by.
I may have mentioned we had our 10-day camping extravaganza to Lake City,
Colorado in August and just had the very best time ever. Coogan made the drive
without a hitch and seemed to love the cool mountain breezes. We drove on jeep
trails, and hiked some trails into the wilderness and he was a trooper
(considering he's a city pup). You would have cried laughing as we had to
maneuver some logs which lay over various creek crossings. We trekked along
through the icy water, some with rapids...Coogan was sure footed and fearless!
We explored Ghost Towns and he was just the little adventurer. We had so much
fun, of course keeping him close by in case of bears lurking about. Each night
we built our campfire and sat around star gazing. He was completely at home and
comfortable. When it was time to retire to our tent, he scampered inside and
curled up at the head of our sleeping bags. I can't describe my feelings as I
drifted off to sleep with his head on my pillow next to mine. In fact, I tear up
just thinking about it. It should have been a Kodak moment, but I was too tired
to get up and grab the camera...ha! Well, looks like no ski trip this winter,
we're remodeling our kitchen and deck, and that's pretty much consuming all of
our resources over the next few months naturally. Coogan's been great, adjusting
to the activity, unfamiliar noises and disruption of construction and
contractors, and the relocation of his daytime accommodations. With his calm,
easy going, laid back disposition, he just goes with the flow. I'm sure he's
looking forward to our project completion which should be early Spring time,
when we can all sit out on our new deck and enjoy the fresh air. Most of all, I
think he'll be excited to have his backyard back to run and play in. He's made a
new little friend just recently, a few doors down from us. He's a little white
Yorkie named Buddy. Buddy frequently visits our house, comes to the front door
and barks as if to say "Can Coogan come out and play." It's the cutest thing. At
that point we let Coogan out in the front yard on his leash where they frolic
about, having the best time.
Best go for now, but please write back when you have a chance. Please enjoy the
attached latest photo of our little man, he's so bright eyed and beautiful, and
he smiles all the time! He truly makes our hearts sing!"

Coogan - 2008

Coogan - 2010 |
|
Coogan's "Mom" had this to say...We’re excited about the
upcoming months as we’re planning a camping trip, maybe a couple of local ones,
long weekends before we head to Colorado for an extended stay. Of course we’re
taking Coogan with us to join in all the fun. As this is his first camping
experience, we just know he’ll love it and do great! We just need to be careful
about ticks and such. I think I told you he’s a wonderful
traveler. All we have to do now is open the hatch of the Jeep and he comes
running and does a flying leap into the back to go for a ride.

Coogan now has a wonderful "brother",
Mr. Packie from our 2010 CJ x River
litter!
Here's a lovely quote I received today in card from
Coogan and Packie's parents:
"Aussies are Angels disguised in fur who remind us of
love!"

"Jasper" |

Layla, Jasper & family
Jasper is still strutting his stuff locally and entertains
his loving & energetic humans and feline buddies, daily. Since Jasper
was an "only puppy" for a year, his sun rises and sets with Colleen and I. Since
Layla went from a group of puppies to a
home with just one other pup, her sun rises and sets with Jasper. I think at
times (especially early on) Jasper wished she would leave him alone so he could
snuggle us, and Layla wished we would leave her alone so she could wrestle with
Jasper! This has mellowed over time and Jasper will seek her out to play and
Layla won't stay in any room for long if the people aren't in it -- and as I
said before she gives her love freely (and wetly).
We thought Layla with
her stronger herding guarding instinct would be the one to lay under the crib
and keep tabs on Ava. Not so. We should have known better. Jasper is in love
with Ava and Ava is IN LOVE with Jasper. Good luck getting her attention when
he's in the room. Layla on the other hand wanted nothing to do with that NOISY
THING! As Ava has grown up a bit and cries a lot less, Layla is more interested,
but she leaves most of the monitoring to Jasper and he's happy to do it.
