will truly fill your life with both!

I treasure the opportunity of watching our puppies come into this
world...and Angel's delivery was exceptional. Her gentle and loving
mannerisms were ever present as she presented each puppy, tending to their
every need. Her patience is awesome...and a definite asset while parenting 7
active Aussies.

Annabell
Annabell is in Mass. where she joined a wonderful gal, two fellow
canine pals and she sees brother 'Red' weekly for play time, in town and on the farm!
See photo of Red below!

Annabell with her best friend Lucky
Update 28 Dec 2008 - I know how
special this litter is to you. Annabell as well as all the others bring joy to
their owners everyday. They bring a special gift to all those that meet them.
Miss A continues to be a shinning star in my life. She instinctively knows when
someone one is ill. My sister Fran was hurt, and Annie stayed by her side. She
continues to have a very special relationship with her.
When Liz came Annie smelled where she had the radiation. She
watched over her every move. If Liz moved Annie came to get me to make sure she
was ok. Everyday she gives more and more. She has turned into a wonderful young
lady. Like promised when she got to be two the light bulb went off.
Annie also knows when my blood sugar level changes. She has
alerted me to when it has gone way down. One morning she was relentless until I
got up and tested the level. I know that when your blood sugar level changes you
give off a different odor.
If she was human I am sure she would have been a nurse. She is
more guardian angel than dog.

RJM Raven Hug Me Holly

December 2008 ~ My sweet
little girl sure does love me and I love her too. I have my arms full of my
pup!
This sweet young lady, now named 'Holly', lives on a ranch in Texas
where she herds cows, chases bunnies, rides in the tractor, and plays all
day long with Edwin and her Aussie companions Levi & Dusty !

Here's Miss Holly, with her buddy Levi, admiring the
wonders of Spring as they tour their ranch

and we dare not forget how little Miss Holly patiently sits on the picnic table,
watching through the window as Edwin works at his computer...we know
she's just waiting for the chance to assist him with his office work!!!

Hello Judy!
I apologize for not writing sooner...but...I
have been crazy busy!!! I wanted to give you an update on Miss Molly. She is an
incredible dog and we absolutely adore her! She and Shakespeare (the worlds
largest corgi) get along famously and play and play and play. The first time we
took her out to meet the horses she was a little shy but not the least bit
intimidated....but I kept careful watch over her just in case. While she
has been very careful to stay near me and away from them...that changed last
week.
I needed to move the horses (5 of them) from
the Southern pasture to the Northern one. This required moving them about 1/2
mile down our dirt road to get them to the Northern pasture. I had the brilliant
idea that if I had a lure (carrots) that they would follow me and I could move
them all at the same time....only haltering the lead mare. WRONG!!! As soon as
they were out they had no intention of doing anything but running willy-nilly
everywhere. I started to panic...not knowing how to get them herded to the gate.
And in comes our heroine...Molly! She jumped out of the truck...cut a big circle
around to the back horse and started driving him forward....she kept running in
a semi-circle, up on side...pushing the horses into a line...and then around the
other side. Whenever the lead mare veered off, Molly ran to the front and
"stared" her down...barking and jumping at her until she changed direction.
I opened the gate and she pushed them through.
It was amazing! The only problem was that after she pushed them through she
wanted to herd them all around the pasture...basically, she didn't want to quit.
An area that I definitely need to work on....as soon as I learn how to teach her
using signals.
Anyway...I thought that I would let you know
how strong the herding instinct is in your dogs. I've enclosed a picture I took
right after....see how happy she looks! As soon as I took her picture she ran
and jumped into the horse water trough...she l-o-v-e-s water!!!
I hope you are doing well and I'll write more
later.

Tater

Tater (r) &
Pudge (l) in 2009

Tater, November 2008
Tater has joined his family in Mass. and has a new
name "Tater"! He enjoys the best of all worlds, city and country with adoring caregivers
and will see his black tri sister weekly!
Date: Tuesday, July 22, 2008
Hi, “I thought
that I’d share a note w/ you about Mr. Tater. Mom’s Miss Chloe ended up w/ some
kind of intestinal bug on Sunday night and was very sick. She ended up being
severely dehydrated and unable to walk and had to be admitted at the vets for
IV’s. Mom called me….beside herself in tears when Chloe was unable to walk…and I
told her to get her in the car and I’d meet her at the vet. Well as I guessed,
she was dehydrated and needed to stay for fluids over night. As you can guess
Mom was relieved but still very upset that Chloe was sick and not home. Well
you’ll be proud to know that Mr. Tater took it upon himself to watch over
Mom….knowing that she was upset and missing Chloe and stayed by her side all
night. He didn’t even go to bed when Dale did (something he always does, as we
all know that he is attached to Dale’s hip) because he sensed that Mom was upset
and needed his comfort more that Dale needed his company. He is such a dear boy.
Mom talked to the vet this morning and Chloe
is much better and hopefully will be able to come home today….so then all will
be right @ Mom’s again…..but thank goodness for Dale having Tater to comfort and
keep an eye on Mom during Miss Chloe’s absence. You do raise some very beautiful
and exceptional Aussies my dear friend, that have hearts and souls of an angel,
and that love unconditionally and everlastingly. I just thought that you like to
hear about Mr. Tater’s kindness and caring for Mom during her time of need.
Hugs to all,
Terry, Radar and your Mass Family

and a bit later…”I’m sure that many of your kidlets have all of the special and
endearing qualities the both Tater and Radar do and exhibit on a daily basis.
They are such wonderful boys and do make our lives so much richer for having
them in it. Dale said that he could see that Tater was torn, about whether to go
to bed w/ him or stay w/ Mom, so he just left his bedroom door open so that
Tater could do what ever he needed to. They really are a match made in heaven.” |
