&
RJM Destiny's Crowning Jewel

DOB April 24, 2009

Pups shown below at 5.5 weeks and onward, as they head off to their new homes!

"Badger"

Update ~ November 2009..."I  wanted to give you an update. Her herding instincts are VERY strong. We have litters of baby pigs and does she go nuts herding them back to where they are supposed to be!  We watch her out the window and of course, her dad has his chest puffed out 'cause she's a smart girl and she knows they aren't to be wandering.

Her dad is having his AG building put up and we have the pad and the footings and the cement and there is all kinds of equipment. Well the pigs were on the pad and those guys working just stopped what they were doing to watch her chase those pigs out of there. Oh my it was so funny. Not to Badge though she was really ticked."

Badger's new family say..."have been wanting to get in touch with you to tell you all the cute, silly and wonderful things that little girl is doing. She and Black (my German Shepherd) have definitely bonded. Badger cuddles with her when she naps.  Mike built her a ramp to be able to get up the porch for the time being and she mastered it in less than a day. He was VERY impressed. My youngest girl said she couldn't believe how well she listens at such a young age. Mike's brother and his daughter came to see her and were impressed. She is the center of attention and struts around like she knows it.  Black is thrilled to have someone to play with and cuddle with again."

Formerly known as BTF #1, this sweetheart will make KS home, where she will enjoy life as a princess

"Ruckus"

Ruckus after yet another game in the mud!!!

"R" boys (Ruckus & Roscoe) thrilled with their car ride to the AA high ground for a fabulous weekend of exploring.

"We took a very bumpy ride along the forest roads and played in the creek. The first picture of Roscoe & Ruckus is the BEFORE picture when they were excited about going for a ride. The ride home was a little different. They were wet, muddy, and tired. They had a ball! Ruckus is definitely the bold one. The night before we visited a neighbor's cabin. They have a pond with lily pads and gold fish. Ruckus dove in, Roscoe a second behind. I dragged them both out but not before Ruckus gulped pond water. He didn't know he should close his mouth and not bark when diving head first. Pond water did not agree with him. He lost his dinner and then some. Reminder to self: always pack rice for Ruckus!! It was a very nice weekend in the cool pines.  Linda & R Boys"

Formerly known as BTM #1, his handsome young man headed to AZ to join Roscoe in a life of great fun.

Message from Ruckus:
Hi Auntie Judy,
I've been having fun. I can run really fast now and I don't fall and roll or skid on my belly any more. Roscoe runs fast but I keep up and when I get tired I just flop down where ever I happen to be. Sometimes it feels good to jump in a mud puddle. Afterward it's not so much fun when I get washed in the sink. Last week I had diarrhea and got to eat pumpkin and rice. It was so good that I got diarrhea again hoping to get some more.

I have a lot more to say than my big brother, Roscoe. I bark and bark when my mom gets home or when I want Roscoe to play with me. The man with the fountain comes over twice every day to let me go outside. He's so nice that I ran over there and left him a little present on his patio. My mom didn't think Mr. & Mrs. Fountain would appreciate it and she cleaned it up before they even had a chance to see it.

I like to sit next to Roscoe on the couch. Once I fell asleep up there and I fell off. Maybe my mom pushed me. I'm not sure. She said I got too close to the edge and slid off but I wonder why she was laughing at me.

Me and Roscoe do everything together. Sometimes he doesn't want to play so I tackle him and bite his ears. If that doesn't work I bring him one of my toys. This weekend we are going for a ride to a cabin on the rim. Just us dogs this time, no cats. By the way, what do you think of Fatso laying on the table. Nice, huh? I would never do that. I'll pee on the floor but I would never lay on a table.

Hope you enjoy my pictures! Send me some pictures of my brother and sister.
Love,  Ruckus

PS - Roscoe says Hi! He wants to know what he did wrong to have to put up with a biting, barking, muddy hairball like me.

Can you see we're best friends??

This is a fun link....

Ruckus and his new mentor and pal, Roscoe (from DeDe/Justin 12/06 litter)....life is good, in Arizona now that the R boys are in charge...LOL

Here are some pics of Ruckus.....at the end of a long driving day as they journey back to AZ. Clearly he and Roscoe are bonding quickly with Roscoe mentoring baby at every turn...how to take your half of the bed...

and as if to say, step off lightly with your left foot, when carrying your new toy!

Linda had this to say..."We made it to Santa Rosa! The "car" picture is how I checked on baby while driving 75 mph. I couldn't take my eyes off the road long enough to turn around so I used my camera.

The "R" boys had a great play time in the hotel. Baby Ruckus was very good in the car. He didn't cry and was quite content to sit in his cage and just watch everything. When we stopped he took care of business, drank a little water, and went right back to his cage."

RJM's Sharp Dressed Man

"Ty"

We are having so much fun with Ty. He is constantly learning new tricks and he is so good with the kids. I have attached a couple of pictures that were taken about 2 weeks ago. We entered him in his first pet parade. He was dressed like a horse, complete with saddle and bridle, and our guinea pig was the cowgirl.

Together, they won us $100 !!! My daughter was absolutely thrilled.

Ty's new "Mom" had this to say..."I just wanted to let you know that Ty is doing great! He already knows sit, down, and shake! He even knows to sit before he receives a treat or food of any kind (he just started doing this on his own!) He does wonderful on his potty training, very rarely has an accident. He loves to take walks in the evening, does great on his leash, and has been sleeping all night in his crate. He doesn't wake up to go out until 6:30! He is such a good boy! He loves to take naps on the air vents, he figured this out right away."

Formerly known as "BTM #2", this darling boy will make greater KC his home where his new "career" will be that of entertaining his new family!

"Bandit"

Bandit (formerly known as BTM #3) has joined his fun loving and active family in the greater KC area, where he will be engaged in all types of activities.

"Jasper"

Shown above with best buddy Galaxy

Jasper wrote: "My first week here has been FUN!  I now have a BIG brother and 2 parents that love me!  I'm such a lucky puppy...."

and after a long day of play & swimming, it's time for a wee boy to have a nap in the most comfortable spot in the house! LOL

This lovely young man, formerly known as RTM #1, has joined his buddy Galaxy and adoring caregivers in CT, where he too will join in all the family fun!

"Pacer"

Formerly RTM #2, Pacer is now with his new family who are thrilled to welcome into their hearts and home.  He stays in the greater KC area.

Some interesting "history" about our RJM puppies & their pedigree...

Back in 2002, I had an email "conversation" about our dogs and their ancestors with my dear friend Joseph Hartnagle.  We were speaking of the history of my dogs bloodlines and Joe shared the following thoughts concerning their ancestry...

"Your RJM Aussies are direct descendents from one of history's greatest sires, Hall of Fame CH Las Rocosa Shiloh.  This pedigree is based on generation after generation of Hall of Fame Sires and Dams.

This pedigree is made up of the three foundation families of Aussies that are noted to be the foundation that started our breed.  Line bred Las Rocosa was crossed with Red Rustler line as well as the Flintridge line...both crosses were sired by Hall of Fame Sire CH Las Rocosa Little Wolf STDcd.

When the out-crosses were made it was to some of the breeds finest in every way...

Hall of Fame Sire CH Briarbrooks Checkmate ... over 100 Breed wins

Hall of Fame Sire CH Fieldmasters Blue Isle Barnstormer, produced over 100 Champions

Thru Las Rocosa La Mesa Spur, we have his pedigree recorded prior to the breed being registered.  So he has one of the longest recorded pedigrees, that trace back to ABOUT 1930's...

Many of the dogs in this pedigree are certainly some of the most winning dogs in K9 History...and best of all, they were some of the best family dogs that any one could have had...Sweet, Beautiful family friends that devoted their whole life in pleasing their families...

I could go on all day about every one of the dogs in your pedigrees.  They are all so special...and just some of the best and most winning...3/4's of the dogs in the pedigrees have earned the title of Hall of Fame."

And here are the grandparents, for whom this litter is a tribute...the incredible power behind the legacy

"Miss Joey"

The power house players in the pups pedigree are Destiny, mother and grandma to many, and of course Justin...sire of both CJ and Cooper...
and of course Miss Joey (a Destiny daughter, dam to Cooper) assuredly they are all key ingredients in the unfolding of the legacy!
In truth, all of the "ancestors" back many generations are the wonderful stepping stones to what we realize in this cross...
the basis that has provided the same uncanny intelligence and abilities possessed by their ancestors.
