Puppies arrived March 1, 2011!
As our thoughts turn to Spring, we are wonderfully
reminded of the significance of the season...new beginnings, as
witnessed through the concept of babies in all forms. Who doesn't
marvel at the sight of baby lambs, calves and the miracle of
birth...and we are no different, in that we are honored with the
privilege of bringing to you, the delightful, versatile and awesome
Flame/Cooper puppies...magical in so very many ways. Stay tuned for
details, as they unfold with this special Spring time

aka Blue Merle Girl 1
Skylar is becoming an amazing little girl and we
love her dearly! She is starting to take neighborhood walks in the
morning and evenings.
Often on her walks she meets new friends both people and animals and
she's doing great with them. We are so very proud of her.
Lincoln has decided he's a dog too, Ha! He put
himself in the kennel last weekend. Skylar didn't know what to think
of that. We think they'll
be best buds before the summer is over.
Our little Skye did great in her first puppy
class, yea!!! We were sooo proud of her. She's learning so many
commands, it's crazy.
She's a smart little girl. We have to keep her body and mind busy,
Ha! We just took the out doors pictures today.
Her left ear is standing up, oh yea! Gives her character! She'll be
11 weeks old on Tuesday.
Skylar is doing very well and adjusting to her
life as princess, with future aspirations of therapy work, here in
the greater KC area.
Her caregivers adore her, so Skylar's very pleased with life.

Jasmine settled into
life with 4 boys, immediately and I'm sure she's
thrilled with the concept of managing them all.
Her family of 6 have already sent notes of admiration
for the darling, and I know that baby girl is smiling
at the thought of farm life, for her in central Kansas.
RJM Destiny's Legacy Reigns
"Reign"
She's 14 1/2 weeks old and
thinks she's a big girl......a natural at
agility talents.....you know, leaping and
biting shirts and anything else that catches
her eye. She is a delight, self directing in
her play and not at all a needy girl.
Reign's careful eye keeps those neighbors
cattle in line, just where she wants them to
be, at all times. She's made great progress
in leash training me as of late, so
according to her....I'm sure all is well .
Reign is now my Velcro girl...seemingly aware of
her job to watch over and love me, instinctively as all her doggie
family does.
She adores racing around the big play yard, carrying one of my shoes
as she travels...running to pass me and present herself in a sit
position,
to get my attention...too funny!

Pups at around 11 weeks...
Meet the girls...pictured here, we can appreciate
their robust appearance and conformation...sporting fantastic health
update from yesterday's vet report. One can just never hear often
enough, how incredibly healthy our dogs are, starting with babies
through adult stages. These three are assuredly no exception to that RJM standard...a testament for your visual appreciation.

I consider myself
lucky to have been able to click the camera quickly
enough to capture anything but a moving blur....LOL.
They are a lively, active tio....much to do and places
to go....should be their motto....just as we want our
Aussie girls, remembering that they are the brains and
bosses in our breed....and I mean no offense to their
male counterparts, who I equally adore. They are simply
uniquely different.
Today the girls are offering you that innocent,
sedate...."who....oh, you couldn't possibly mean
me"....look. What natural hams with their very own
version of drama......enjoy! |

Even this early,
one has to be quick with the camera.....hold them,
shower them with love kisses, place them on the day bed
for photo shoot and click the camera....that's just how
professional we are here with our routine....LOL. In my
opinion, better to have a touch of blur to picture that
debating the value of sitting still with an infant
puppy......and I know you understand and agree. |

The girls are taking a quick moment to say
hello and send fond greetings for a fabulous Spring day. The girls
are just 16 days old today, eyes are just opening with hearing soon
to follow, but you can appreciate how much they have changed and
starting to take on that wonderfully familiar puppy "look". Too
cute...when they attempt crawling....yes, the girls offer us an
advanced opinion on motor skills and assuredly on sweetness.....!
The girls have a fan club, headed by Auntie Jo,
who in fact, was awaiting the arrival of a darling black tri boy in
this group....and although that part didn't materialize, she has
taken the all important role of Auntie. She sent your girls lovely
gifts this week....something of which I will hold until you visit
your girls and delight in sharing of this generous and loving
appreciation from Auntie.
From this point forward...the girls will be
referred to as blue merle #1 (darker blue) and blue merle #2 (more
trim colors), for our conversation purposes. The numeric
identification carries absolutely no consideration toward puppy
ranking in beauty nor overall quality.

Some interesting "history" about our RJM puppies & their
pedigree...
Back in 2002, I
had an email "conversation" about our dogs and their ancestors with my dear
friend Joseph Hartnagle. We were speaking of the history of my dogs
bloodlines and Joe shared the following thoughts concerning their ancestry...

Aussies are direct descendents from one of history's greatest sires, Hall of
Fame CH Las Rocosa Shiloh. This pedigree is based on generation after
generation of Hall of Fame Sires and Dams.
This
pedigree is made up of the three foundation families of Aussies that are
noted to be the foundation that started our breed. Line bred Las
Rocosa was crossed with Red Rustler line as well as the Flintridge
line...both crosses were sired by Hall of Fame Sire CH Las Rocosa Little
Wolf STDcd.
When the
out-crosses were made it was to some of the breeds finest in every way...
Hall of
Fame Sire CH Briarbrooks Checkmate ... over 100 Breed wins
Hall of
Fame Sire CH Fieldmasters Blue Isle Barnstormer, produced over 100

Thru Las

one could have had...Sweet, Beautiful family friends that devoted their
whole life in pleasing their families...
