Gone but never forgotten...our legends & stepping stones who made it all
possible,
continuing that goal that has always been & will continue to be,
bettering the breed; continuing that total versatility that they possess.

Las Rocosa Cheyenne CD
"Cheyenne"
In my heart I know that if you look to the Heavens, you might just see Miss
Cheyenne flitting about...chasing butterflies which was always her favorite
past-time.

Cheyenne & her sire CH Las Rocosa Tom
Bull Wolf STDs
Cheyenne
was one of the last of the CH Las Rocosa Tom Bull Wolf STDs
daughters...

mother to Bow Tie, Magic and DeDe...

and loved by all here at RJM!
|
Her accomplishments were many and diverse...performing in therapy to
children who experienced fear of dogs, incredible herding test trial
acknowledgments,
nationally ranked obedience competitor, superior mothering and mentor
abilities...and charm like no other...winning the hearts of all she met at
first encounter.
Above and beyond those tangible accomplishments...her life charge of loving
openly and freely as a true and constant friend, remains the constant in my
heart.
Indeed, her heart was as big as the sky and her spirit...a pure and
priceless gift.
Cheyenne's beauty, heart & loyalty is carried on in her progeny that will
always be part of RJM Aussies.
Our sincere and heart felt appreciation to Carol Ann Hartnagle, Las Rocosa
Australian Shepherds, for producing our Cheyenne...and sharing this
fantastic little blue Aussie girl with us.
We are forever grateful for the privilege and honor of Cheyenne's love and
hold close the incredible opportunity given us,
in raising Miss Cheyenne, who went on to be the foundation of RJM Australian
Shepherds.

RJM Cheyenne's Bow Tie

"Bow"

Bow Tie, Magic & Tyler
This was such a cute photo we used it for our logo!
Reflections of Bow...
You came into this world with
the greatest of tenacity and zest for life, the carefree will of the wind and
the spirit of an Angel. You asked for nothing, but rather offered a constant
soulful look as if to say, “how may I please you” and you cheered me even in my
darkest days. You showed me that love is the answer…the only answer and
instilled in me words and thoughts by which to measure...live simply, love
generously, care deeply with tremendous passion and treasure each day with no
regrets...for there is no promise of tomorrow. You were my silent hero…and you
taught me well, Bow Tie. While your earthly time was far too short, according
to my plan…you were light years ahead of me, in that you already knew how to
love to the very depth of your soul and it is I who must search to learn that
lesson…the essence of life through the uncomplicated eyes, heart and soul of an
Aussie.

Bow was an awesome boy, companion, show dog, keeper of
the peace, and always a source of pride and laughter.
His daughters, Angel & Joey, half sister DeDe &
grand daughter, Flame...carry on his legacy.
Rest in peace darling, we will always love you!

RJM Lacota Magic CD

"Magic"
| Magic was our lady with the "heart of a Lion"
which was her moniker in life...her unyielding sheer will to
overcome all obstacles and truly did make lemonade out of lemons
through her tenacity, drive and loyalty. This beautiful
red merle tom-boy took life in stride, with ease and an open
mind to all that was before her...with each new day. Her
attitude was impeccable...her character superior and her love of
life, uncompromising. Magic was a perfect compliment to
her momma Cheyenne's legacy and the standard she developed...
raising the bar to yet a higher standard, influenced by children
and adults, equally. |

RJM Destiny's Autumn
Dream DNA-CP

"Miss Joey"
| She is missed by many, for so many
reasons...offering sweetness was like no other with her ritual of
running between by legs, looking up with a bird like thrill in her
voice, as if to welcome each new morning. She was of excellent
and well rounded character with her attention to human needs as
priority and never a needy type Aussie girl, as pup nor adult...what
we would all consider well rounded and testament to the breed.
Based on her diverse genetics, she contributed greatly to expanding
out ability to present pups that excel in agility, search, rescue,
recovery and therapy in hospital and nursing home settings.
Most significant, her pups were a reflection of her traits...easy in
sharing life, attentive, unselfish, dedicated...with a fun and fancy
style, grace and personality. This darling red tri girl was
such a gift to us all and what she represents through her lineage
and progeny...as her memory lives on through them all. |

Las Rocosa Destiny of RJM

|
"Destiny" ...
it's all in the name and journey; Heavenly bound.
I have loved and continue to cherish every Aussie who shares in my life,
hopes and dreams...and fully realize that they are on loan to me by God so
that I too can be guided in learning my earthly lessons. Mostly, I
treasure their unconditional love which speaks to me in great volume...but I
also adore their special individual uniqueness, strengths and stellar
character that encapsulates all of their fantastic traits. Having said
that, each one holds a special place in our hearts and Destiny is no
different and perhaps in her way, set the stage for real and true
appreciation of our complicated yet complete contribution in this world.
I try to see it from their vantage point, through their pure souls.
Miss Destiny was well suited to her name, prior to her creation; we knew she
would go on to accomplish much, especially having the undivided support of
Cheyenne, Magic and Bow Tie. Without question, she holds the highest
intelligence of any dog I know and her uncanny wit was a daily ritual to
behold...with a simple look, a glance while offering silent direction to her
team. My description for her was always...had she been human, she
would have been the Indian Scout leading the wagon train and warding off all
offenders. Her legacy lives on...and we so appreciate how she graced our
world, delighting us with sincere yet simple pleasures...admiring her
superior and stunning beauty, steadfast loyalty and esteem, gifts far
greater than any awards resulting from her show career. Destiny passed
this morning and in my mind I see her racing to God's side to assist him in
daily chores...starting with roll call and one would want to be on time or
run the course of Destiny's "teaching moment"...as God's enforcer. |

And two of the most important men who blessed our lives with their
presence...Ray Mautz (right) , best friend & loving husband & Joseph Hartnagle
(left),
mentor and friend to us both.

Joe, Ray & baby Destiny

Judy showing Marc for Joe in non-regular puppy at a 4th of July
show....Marc was winners pup that day and it was an honor to be
asked to show him for Joe. I met him only as Joe handed me the
leash....going into the ring...WOW!!! |
|

Joe & his wonderful Bo....doing very well at another 4th of July
show.
Bo is Daddy to Bow, Magic and Tyler.

Look at the legs on that girl...during her teenage stage....WOW who
would have thought she would mature into a cobby, stocky girl.

We know Joe & Ray are keepers of our stars, two of the
kindest and most loving gentlemen we've ever known.
We miss you both.

Dance like nobody's watching
Love like you've never been hurt.
Sing like nobody's listening and
Live like it's Heaven on Earth.
